I believe the land adjacent to the Lanherne sheltered housing scheme located on Exeter Road and which used to be allotments (but which is now very wildly overgrown) is a site that TDC has its eyes on for future council housing development. What age group target, what type of accommodation, how much etc I do not know.
Teignbridge is building council housing again for the first time in 25 years. The first two projects were completed earlier in the year with several more now in the pipeline as part of the 'Teignbridge 100' scheme.
