Thanks for the info, i hope your friends child is ok, and hopefully this is just an isolated incident here in Dawlish, it just remains for all us parents to make doubly sure our children are aware of these things.

My child has just brought home a note informing us that a child from school (Gatehouse) was approached by a stranger at the weekend, who asked the child if they wanted a lift. The police therefore asked the school to inform all parents. I was wondering if anyone has anymore information as to where this took place, what the person looked like ,and if there has been anymore incidents that we, as ...

So....if we all go to Sandy Lane "for the better deals" then the number of cars in the Sandy Lane area will increase surely. What about the safety of our children who will be using the skate park and youth centre and those who walk to school across Sandy Lane?
