Didnt spot the cougar when i last looked as she only arrived on the 5th,but yep shes there as well,neptune been there since 17th may according to data. kola still there but doesnt seem to be transmitting atm,shes a russian tanker though.
The large ship is the Neptune ace and is a cargo ship at anchor,what for i dont know. its 200m long 32m whide and draws 8.5m draft,shes a biggun alright,but not a tanker. There is however a tanker, The KOLA sat at anchor just to the south east of the neptune ace. got this info from shipfinder,an app on my iphone :)
Another problem being the holiday makers feeding the seagulls,no wonder they cant be bothered to go and catch fish like the rest of them. Seagulls are ardent scavengers and some of them are quite brazen,my son had a pasty nicked right out of his hand outside the co op by one. I wouldnt want to harm any of them and i have to agree with flo to a point,we have fished their natural diet over the ...
Ninja..It might be(only might be)the same scumbags that got away with my bikes. Ive got a disc of the people concerned doing it in the early hours,if you would like a copy get in touch and see if you recognise them,i have a 100% match sp far on everyone who has seen this disc giving the same name and im told bikes are one of their their things. Got to laugh really,been speaking to one of the one stop staff. The work crews turned up this morning to commence the refurb...only to be met by an official from the council, telling them they needed a licence for the mini scaffold (the little tower on wheels) and our ever faithful parking enforcement Bod to tell em they couldnt use the loading bay. Im told it got quite heated.Hope the council guy ...
@Vanguard .. yes i understand the whole facia is to be done and the windows and signage, i also undestand there will be two of the days where work is carried out through out hte night.
The one stop shop and post office on the strand will be closed all day on Tuesday 5th April. The shop is getting a bit of a revamp and work commences monday 4th April (not before time i hear you cry) , However some of the heavier work requires the shop to be closed for saftey reasons. If you know of any Elderly people that make the usual Tuesday trek down to town for their pensions, or anyone ...
Thanks for your comments,people,worth pointing out that this was the dawlish office not the one in teignmouth where this was reported as it was dawlish the bikes were pinched from. Having had 3 rather expensive Bikes stolen this last week (totalling £700),we went down to our nice new police office to report it.
