I am not expecting everyone who signs up to be pro Dawlish, otherwise we would not get a healthy, balanced debate. What concerns me more is the unnecessary hatred some users have for each other.

What are user's genuine views about 'anonymous' postings on this forum and should we now put in place a compulsory sign up? There are now a lot of very poor quality posts here and most of these are posted by users that have not signed up.

I am writing to protest the proposed closure of Hollandia sub post office. We are a typical English rural village, (a Pub, Church, Village Hall & Post office/shop). Your proposed closure would affect the very heart of this traditional environment. It would also endanger the viability of the only shop we have. The Round Table and Rotary club do not have any influence on this site, and none of the posts should have been deleted. You do not have to register to post in the backyard forum. This could be extended to the other forums although I thought I'd see how it would go down. Feedback is appreciated.
