I think we will have to wait to see what will be done. In the Gazette report a mention is made of Mary Portus observations on town centres and she say its vital we have parking in centres. there will be parking from what I understand, but only one side of the road
Devon County Council have approved a £1.5million enhancement. Through traffic to remain with wider pavement, and decision on removing wall and replace with railings still to be considered
The trouble is Lynne by the time its sorted it might be too late!!!
No harm in trying but I think it will most probably be somewhere like Exeter/Torquay etc not a very small town like Dawlish
@wondering I prefer to think of it as the town centre, a lot can still be done to make it a more pleasant place, widen pavement, put road back as it used to be before pavements to nowhere and bollards where put in.Parking only on the Lawnside with railings and a pavement.
