IDS says benefit changes are working but can you trust these employment figures, anyone on benefit sanctions are not classed as unemployed,anyone on workfare is not classed as unemployed but employed,and there are 10s of thousands of these people,this would easily account for the sharp rise in employment and the drop in unemployment and also more people working but less productive.

£19 extra a week for people already on a stretched income. A family memeber has just bought and they are already stretched, if that happened it would make it very hard for them. The gov encourages home ownership instead of promoting more social housing
