Another opportunity for the seagulls to dump all over Dawlish...!!!!!
I have just come from the viaduct and I have never seen so many seagulls in one place. There must be a very big shoal of sprats. If there are millions of sprats, there must be 10's of thousands of seagulls, it is a huge raft. The seagulls won't need feeding tomorrow.
My sentiments exactly how could we possibly be last and a woman from Australia swinging on a pole with a awful voice be ninth it's madness.
Not just because the UK finished last, but I have never seen so much rubbish in my life. Talk about talking something up ,well this must be rated as the most talked up entertainment show ever. Why I watched it, I shall never know.
The no dog signs are already in place at Red Rock but dog owners seem to be ignoring them.
Just to let us know that the work will most probably go on through out the holiday season and the beach will be closed off. I would not be suprised if the beach onwards to The Warren from Dawlish gets NO DOGS signs put up for this season. So another holiday season for Dawlish pooped on. Yes, before all the haters start up on this site.....I understand the work needs to be carried out and there ...
Ignorant cyclist putting walkers in danger whilst he cycles along the sea wall between The Warren and Dawlish. On occassion I have confronted those ignorant people who cycle along the sea wall only to be verbally abused and in some cases, if it wasn't for my size, physically assaulted. As long as there is no enforcement dickheads will continue to upset the rest of us, same for a lot of ...
So Brooklyn Bridge what you are saying is if a Police Officer is doing a good job we should turn a blind eye if he or she breaks the law. I have been told the person who reported the indiscretion had been given words of advice about riding there bike on the footpath so if that is correct it's understandable.
@Brooklyn Bridge Mobility scooters although necessary for a lot of people but riding them actually on the road is a no-no of which I have seen on a number of occasions. Well mobilty scooters have to cross any road to get to the otherside, there are places where there are no foot path, and there are plenty of times where vehicles park on the pavement and do not leave enough room to pass for ...
Hi 1263, I say grateful as we had nothing in the past but a couple of PSCO's with no arrest power,he did walk the beat as it were before having the bike. I think it's better than driving around in the police car/van all day. But I do agree with you that if we are paying more council tax there is a need for another police officer. How it is now the one we have when on an early shift ends at 4pm and ...
