Way too much information for most people to trawl through. As I read it, TDC supports developers building 1800+ houses on their own land (landowner earns approx £200,000 per hectare) but rather than provide the requisite green space on that land, they want to compulsorily purchase the Weeks' land for £25,000 per hectare. What a racket. What an injustice.
Well done Burneside, this could have been a constructive debate until you turned it nasty with your comment. As it happens I agree that Brown getting rid of tax relief on pension dividends had the effect of decimating them but the same happened before that when the Tories taxed pension funds surplus - many funds were voluntarily frozen to sidestep the tax and when the bubble burst there was no ...
Lynne - look no further than the first line - it should be of high quality design. On that point alone the application should fail. What is alarming is that the refusal in 2013 for the marginally more relevant mermaid at Teignmouth notes it had previously been approved in 1996 and 2001. So I guess we can't rely on the good sense of our council. Good to see a few objections are appearing on ...
Margaret, do you think that a different decision might have been given in respect of some grant applications had there been more time at F&GP meeting? Any particular one in mind? Also, what was the significance of you wondering whether the Mayor and Mayoress understand that they are in purdah? Was answering Flo's question a breach in some way?
It's no irony that the applicant wants it sited by the toilets!
Yes Mrs S, I'm a bit like you, all talk no action. Let's discuss this bandwagon thing tomorrow. Goodnight.
Calm down Mrs S, at 35 minutes to midnight he/she might be asleep, with a professional commitment in the morning. It's often only peope of leisure that surf this late. If you do a bit of research ( I.e. click on Duckileak's posts) you'll see their first comment about the Carnival was in 2011 Then a more detailed one in 2013. I wouldn't call that bandwagon jumping, would you? Why ...
The float might have been sold off since but seeing as it's such a hot potato, it's seems reasonable to hope it would be followed up properly. TheObserver - send a letter or email to the Council asking them to account for its disposal or maybe one of the councillors here could volunteer to investigate. Any takers?
Free to you Burneside, my treat. Let me know when you're coming, I'll lock the cat in the bedroom. http:A//i01.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/134448503/teflon_dog_bowl.jpg
That's very funny, I'll take a screenshot before it's deleted. I know it's off topic but I have a set of pans for sale. Teflon coated.
