That's probably the case Ken. I would guess something hasn't been done properly.
That is SWW's default response. When we were responsible for our shared drain that was the mantra until we finally got someone in who did a proper review of the drainage only to find there was a tree root growing through the drain as well as the end of the drain not being built properly with too sharp a bend. At least it shut the neighbour up who believed all the women were responsible for ...
All fixed now.
It's further up where it's running down the road. You can see it as well as smell it! They've come back to me to say they'll look at it asap but I've just reminded them schools start tomorrow and parents with kids don't want to be wading through it!
I've obviously got a nose for it (and wish I didn't!)
Just to warn anyone who walks this way especially with their children or dogs, there seems to be a sewerage leak in Secmaton Lane running from Bovis Homes. I've notified SWW, they were really quick sorting out the last one, so fingers crossed. Not nice to walk through.
