An international orchard show this autumn to celebrate 50years will be held at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish Warren. There will be Orchard traders from all over England, Europe and Taiwan both selling plants and giving advice. The show will start on Saturday October 25th and continue on Sunday October 26th. Entry is £3 for adults, children free.
A sponsored 10k walk/run organised by the Pink Sparkle committee in aid of Cancer Research UK will be held at Powderham Castle on Sunday 12th October at 11am.
A public meeting will be held at St Mary's Church Hall, Dawlish Warren on Wednesday, September 24th starting at 6.30pm. The meeting will cover Issues raised by the public.
There will be a sale of Railway Books and Cards. New and Secondhand Books on Steam, Diesel, Branch Lines. Back Copies of Rail Magazines and Postcards. The sale will be at the Museum in Jo's room on Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th of September, 11am to 3pm.
