The Devon Bird of Prey Centre will be returing to the Castle with their magnificent birds for another wonderful summer season. See the birds up close and then admire them in flight at the daily 3.30pm display on the North Lawn. Included in admission.
Clairvoyant evenings will be held at the Dawlish Christian Spriritualist church, Albert Street Dawlish. August 5th, 12th, 26th. 7.30pm. Entry £2.50 at the door.
There will be Punch and Judy on the green at Dawlish Warren on 17th and 24th August. Shows starting 12:00noon 2:00pm and 4:00pm
Car boot sale at the Langstone Cliff Hotel field will be held every Sunday for 11 weeks starting Sunday 26th June.8am-noon In aid of the Community Transport.
Dawlish Carnival week starts on Saturday 13th August and ends on Saturday 20th August with the carnival procession on Friday 19th August. Times of events can be found in the carnival programme
Dawlish Garden Society will be holding their Amateur Flower Show 2011 on Saturday August 13th at 12.00 noon The show will be open to Non-Members and Children. There will be classes for Handicrafts, Art ,Photography, Cookery and Floral Art. A trophy will be given for the best exhibit by special needs person. Entries close Wednesday 10th August. Dawlish Fundraising Committee are holding a Indoor Fete at the United Reformed Church on Friday 5th August and Friday 12th August 10am-4pm There will be various stalls including plants, books, etc. Also cakes and cream teas will be available. Free admission
