It's the end of the working week at the Club A Go-Go and the blokes and the birds are on the pull with varying degrees of success. A set of wide-eyed teens, under the watchful eye of nightclub owner Eric "Rubber Legs" de Vene, find out what is to love and lose on a Saturday night to the swinging sounds of the sixties. The Mitre Players return to Dawlish for this production of the Heather Brothers' musical homage to the era of high hemlines, kinky boots, long fringes and even longer eyelashes. A live four piece "combo" will set the tempo for an evening of nostalgia, laughter and great entertainment. The show was a smash hit when it originally opened in London and director John Harries-Rees promises a funny, fast-moving evening that everyone who has ever been young will relate to.
