This is the new 12 sided £1 coin which is due to come into circulation at the end of March 2017.
The old £1 coin (pictured below) will still be in circulation until October 2017.
If you are one of our clients who saves £1 coins in a jar or tin for Christmas or other special occassions, please take your old coins to a bank before they go out of circulation to exchange them for the new coins.
