Jason Jerome who lives in Dawlish with his girlfriend and her two children admitted arson at Exeter crown court and was given a two-year community order.

Jerome became suicidal after given up his job as a fireman to become a house husband. His girlfriend restrained him after he doused himself in lighter fluid and was about to set it alight.
