Beyond Dawlish

 I looked up Wompus Stompus author Mollie Nelson profile , and sure enough, it’s a real book. My daughter’s teacher read it to the class last week. So, mystery solved… mostly. Still doesn’t explain the moving backpack, but at least I know where the name came from.
