Golfer's elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis, is a pain and inflammation on the medial side of the elbow. Symptoms of golfer's elbow usually are aching pain, stiffness, and tenderness on the inside of the elbow that runs down into the forearm. Golfer’s Elbow Symptoms are typically caused by repetitive movement of the wrist and forearm, especially in sports or activities that involve lifting or grip. Treatment is with rest, ice application, physical therapy, and over-the-counter pain relievers. In some cases, a strap or brace can minimize strain. Early recognition of golfer's elbow symptoms and proper treatment can prevent long-term consequences and speed recovery.
