£1.5m Facelift For Strand

The strand is to receive £1.5 million from Devon County Council towards a much needed facelift as part of the regeneration of Dawlish. Engineers will be preparing options and taking soundings so that there is a concensus and completion is planned for 2012/13. There'll obviously be some match funding needed from Teignbridge and Dawlish.
It has also been revealed, that after the completion of the High Street scheme £100,000 will be spent on construction work on the Cockwood to Dawlish Warren cycle/footpath also modernising the town library.
