A Dawlish resident thinks Tourists who feed seagulls should be fined. The resident said they had been swooped on when walking along The Brook and had also been 'verbally abused' when remonstrating with someone who was feeding the gulls. The problem seems to be mainly with visitors who do not realise that seagulls can be dangerous also a health hazard. The complainant has suggested that posters should be erected around the town explaining the problems caused by feeding the gulls. Dawlish Town Council will discuss the issue at a meeting this evening.
