Lufthansa's boarding process is organized to make boarding quick and efficient. Each boarding pass has the passenger’s group number. The Lufthansa Boarding Groups start with pre-boarding for families, unaccompanied minors, and passengers needing assistance. Priority boarding follows with Group 1 (First Class members) and Group 2 (Business Class and Star Alliance Gold members). The remaining groups are called based on seating - starting with window seats, followed by middle and aisle seats.
