If you're looking to free up space on your iCloud and declutter your photo library, knowing how to delete photos from iCloud is essential. Here’s a simple guide to help you with the process:

  1. Open iCloud Photos: On your iPhone or iPad, open the Photos app. If you're using a Mac, launch the Photos app from the Dock. For a Windows PC, access iCloud through the iCloud app.

  2. Select Photos: Browse through your photo library and select the images you want to delete. On mobile devices, tap "Select" in the top right corner. On a Mac, use the Command key to select multiple photos.

  3. Delete Photos: After selecting the photos, tap the trash icon on iOS or right-click and choose "Delete Photos" on a Mac. For Windows, select "Delete" from the menu.

  4. Empty the Recently Deleted Folder: Deleted photos move to the "Recently Deleted" folder, where they stay for 30 days. To permanently delete them, go to the "Recently Deleted" album, tap "Delete All," and confirm.

  5. Sync Changes: Ensure your device is connected to the internet to sync changes across all devices linked to your iCloud account.

By following these steps, you’ll efficiently manage and clear up space in your iCloud storage.
