Dawlish Notices

I work for an environmental charity called Global Action Plan and I am running a community project in the Dawlish area for Dawlish residents called 'Small Change'.

The project enables people to look at ways of reducing their water consumption, energy use, and waste in the home, as well as learning about local food providers in Teignbridge.

We have already had 4 groups participate in the project and now looking for more volunteers to join in order to run another group in February.

We run a workshop every three weeks at the Manor House. There are 4 different workshops for people to attend.

There is also the opportunity for volunteers to help run future 'Small Change' groups themselves after having gone through the 'Small change' process.

A free home energy visit is provided for each volunteer who joins the project as well as free products such as composters, and water butts to assist them to make small changes to their lifestyles.
