As I have said on the discussion board, the 'moaning', as you call it, is a wake up call - the town is in a state of decline and seems to be controlled by short term business interests ie making money from less affluent tourists from Dawlish Warren. I am in fact involved in a number of local groups but there are huge obstacles to progress, mainly due to blinkered attitudes about how Dawlish should be.
I am not moaning - it is very frustrating to go to other coastal towns and note how much better they are, because they have moved with the times and encouraged a more upmarket approach. Stop moaning about the 'moaners' who are really trying to move Dawlish on.
