The Environment Agency has told people to get ready for flooding around coastal areas of the county

Alerts have also been put in place for South Devon estuaries, the coast between Start Point and Dawlish Warren, and the coastline from Start Point to Plymouth. Within the higher-level warnings, the Environment Agency says people should "act now".
