Two elderly best friends from Devon have been forced to cancel their joint birthday party for the first time in 80 years.

The pair had been planning their joint 90th birthday party, which was due to take place at the Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish Warren, for months and they never thought in their wildest dreams that they would have to cancel it
