The South Devon hospitals dealing with casualties from this morning's double decker bus crash have asked the public not to attend their A&E department unless it is a "real emergency".

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust have issued the statement on social media.

It says: "We are currently dealing with a major incident. Please do not come to our Emergency Department unless it’s a real emergency.

The trust also included a link to their Minor Injury Units (MIU) based in Dawlish, Newton Abbot and Totnes where people can go with less serious injuries.
