An apology has been issued after a planning officer told councillors that mortgage industry won’t provide mortgages to homes which have gypsy and travellers pitches within their allocation boundary.
Rosalyn Eastman, Business Manager for Strategic Place, said then that gypsy and traveller pitches were required to be delivered off-site as the council had been told by the mortgage industry that they won’t provide mortgages to homes which have gypsy and travellers pitches within their allocation boundary.
