A crew from Dawlish was called to a south Devon caravan park after a hoverboard first began to smoke, then exploded into flames while being charged.
The hoverboard was under an awning just outside the caravan, meaning if it hadn't been spotted the whole van could have gone up in flames.

I just cannot understand why they are called Hoverboards, when they don't hover.
They are on wheels.
