Figures released today on the Devon and Cornwall Police website show there were 105,455 recorded crimes in the force area between October 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018, up 10.4 per cent on the previous year.
DROP IN CRIME
The Isles of Scilly saw the biggest drop in crime, down 27.2 per cent, year-on-year, and is also the area where the fewest crimes took place, just 75. Crime in Ashburton dropped 22.4 per cent, while crime in Ernesttle, Pilton, Bratton Fleming and Goodleigh, Dawlish, Penzance Rural West, Lynton and Lynmouth and Wellswood dropped by more than 10 per cent

Can't believe these figures!!! crime commissioner and police chiefs always saying how good a job they are doing with reduced resources.
