A man accused of trying to burn down Exeter's synagogue will be transferred to a secure psychiatric hospital before it is judged whether he is fit to stand trial.

A hearing at Exeter Crown Court on Thursday morning was told that Morgan will be transferred to Langdon Hospital in Dawlish before an assessment is made over whether he is fit to plea and stand trial.
