Teignbridge Council is being told it should to end its winter policy of 'free on Sundays' and cheaper winter parking at Dawlish Warren, and instead impose seven day a week charges at the much higher summer rates.

Oh Teignbridge, Oh Teignbridge. It is councillors that run the council and not the officers.
So it is up to your councillor as to what is going to be done about it. It is all about making money and nothing else but councillors get threatened with an increase in the budget if they do not follow the advice of officers.
Parking is not about raising revenue and the road traffic regulation order and some court cases will tell them that. So councillors need to do their job and stop fluffing around as Allan Connent appears to be doing.
