The boy whose life was transformed after Mirror readers raised over £20,000 for vital operations has had his first walk on the beach.

His first family holiday in three years, a week-long break in Dawlish, Devon, was funded by Wayne Scott-Fox, who paid £1,222 after reading of our campaign.

Mirror readers had already raised more than £20,000 for two vital operations which were cancelled due to Tory NHS cuts.
