POLICE are appealing for information after an ‘opportunistic’ theft of a van from a driveway in broad daylight.
The black VW Caddy van was parked on a private [drive] on Exeter Road in Dawlish near the Marine Garage Texaco garage on Friday when it was taken.
Investigating officer DC Chris Empson has appealed to the public to come forward if they saw anything suspicious after the theft that happened at around midday on Friday, February 27.
If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of the vehicle or saw anything suspicious in the lead up to and after the vehicle was stolen, they are asked to contact police either or 101 or by email at 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk, quoting crime reference number CR/013818/15.
