The application is withdrawn but the cultural pavilion is now permitted development.
Many posts believe that the people of Dawlish have some sort of say in proposed developments by way of a two-way consultation. If this is the case then what is SUSTRANS up to? Have they consulted with Devon County Council yet, Teignbridge? Dawlish Town Council? Where is the visitor centre/cycle hub going to go?
Perhaps someone should contact SUSTRANS and ask them?

Pehaps I dont have a back yard and that is why I value public open spaces. Is that such a bad ethos?
A good ethos - except for the fact that you have a very large garden don't you? Anyway, it's a waste of time labouring the point with your mob as you're all so entrenched against any change. So, I hope that you enjoy the view of the present bandstand carbuncle for years to come - I'm sure our children and grandchildren will be grateful that you and your mob have left this as your legacy to them.
Mrs C, off her rocker, again. The current bandstand will not be in place "for years to come", TDC will take charge and come up with a plan far more suited to the lawn than the monstrosity dreamt up by some town councillors.
