SOUTH DEVON will be featured on national television next week when the hit Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me comes to the English Riviera.

The popular entertainment programme will be broadcast on Wednesday, September 17, at 5pm on Channel 4 and features contestants from Torquay and Dawlish.

Featuring in the episode are Scuba-diving science teacher Philip Austin, burlesque event organiser Sarah Bell, advertising sales rep Charlotte Bowes and children's author David Lawrence Jones.

The contestants all said that the enjoyed the experience but found the week-long filming schedule back in the May half-term break stressful.
