New tourism websites for the town have now been launched for Teignmouth and Dawlish. www.loveteignmouth.co.uk and www.lovedawlish.co.uk can now be found online, with technology that works on PCs, tablets and mobile phones.

The websites are solely aimed at promoting the town to tourists.

Peter Cross, of Presents and Chairman of the Teignmouth and Dawlish CIC, said “the first thing we all do nowadays when booking a holiday is research it on the internet.

"These websites ensure potential visitors are greeted with an updated list of the great variety of tourist attractions and activities we have to offer and all of our great shops, cafes and restaurants. There are links to all our guest houses, B&Bs, campsites and hotels to make finding somewhere to stay easy.”

He added: “The websites don’t include things such as local news or bin collection times. They are all about showing off Dawlish and Teignmouth as great places to visit.”

The images have all been supplied by local photographers.

Great idea but Dawlish site looks like it still needs work doing on it - links are missing on various pages

Great effort, but it needs some serious proofreading and consequent editing of typos and grammatical errors. Once complete, it'll be a valuable resource for tourists.

Let me know if i can I assist with proofreading.
