The Fire Service received a call reporting a fire in a property at the above location. One fire appliance from Dawlish and one fire appliance from Teignmouth attended.
Fire crews confirmed a fire involving an electrical appliance lead in the kitchen of a domestic bungalow. Fire crews escorted one female adult from the property, the female did not suffer from any smoke inhalation. The fire was extinguished by fire crews using two breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
