Dawlish News
Two fire appliances from Dawlish and Teignmouth attended a building fire in Dawlish, a further appliance from Danes Castle was mobilised for the use of Compressed Air Foam (CAFS). Crews on scene also requested an aerial platform attend to assist with fire fighting capabilities, this was mobilised from Taunton.
Crews set to work using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and 3 dry powder extinguishers, also a covering jet was laid for safety. An additional pump was then requested to total 4 appliances on scene, this was mobilised from Teignmouth.
