Heavy rain and soaking roads caused problems for motorists in Devon today.
This morning police warned drivers of wet leaves, standing water and driving rain.
It comes after numerous crashes in the region today.
At 6:10am a 125cc motorcycle crashed in Dawlish.
Police and an ambulance were sent to Teignmouth Road in Dawlish 100 metres past the junction with West Elliot Road.
The female rider of the motorcycle has serious leg injuries and has been taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.
Police say the road is expected to be shut for some time.
The Highways Agency have set up diversions.
