TEIGNMOUTH and Dawlish traders are being put on the map with a new community initiative aimed at boosting the profile of each seaside town.
New town centre maps which highlight the range of shops and businesses in both places have been produced by Teignbridge Council in partnership with Dawlish Town Council, Teignmouth Town Council and traders in both resorts.
The illustrative maps are aimed at enticing more people to the town and encouraging people to spend time browsing local shops and visiting attractions.
The funding was made possible as a result of separate deals brokered by Teignbridge Council under planning approval conditions for Sainsbury's supermarket in Dawlish and Morrisons in Teignmouth.
