The Fire Service received several calls to a fire involving outbuildings at The Strand, Starcross on Saturday evening. Fire appliances from Dawlish, Danes Castle and Teignmouth attended.
Upon arrival, fire crews confirmed outbuildings well alight and started to tackle the fire using four breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets.
Fire crews requested a fourth fire appliance from Middlemoor, Exeter, as well as the incident command vehicle and a supporting fire appliance from Totnes.
