Five Exmouth Harriers took part in the Dawlish Coasters’ organised ‘Oh my obelisk!’ race, writes Dev Eveleigh.

The event follows a tough, hilly and off-road 11 mile course that takes runners up out of Dawlish to the obelisk that can usually be picked out at the left hand end of Haldon Forest when viewed from the Wast.

Relatively dry conditions made for some very fast times, winner, Michael Ronison of Tamar Trotters, clocking 68:54.
