Staying Safe and Warm in Dawlish

Teignbridge District Council will be joining forces with other public services for a ‘Stay Safe, Stay Warm’ roadshow on Tuesday October 25th. Council staff will be giving advice on housing issues, energy efficiency and more. They will also be providing free energy saving devices like ‘Powerdown’ plugs, which automatically switch of electrical appliances like computers and TVs at the wall when not in use. Cllr Philip Vogel, Teignbridge Executive Spokesperson for Housing and Planning said: “... This event will give practical help and advice on lots of things to help keep you safe, warm, and better off this winter. “Everyone’s welcome to join us, just drop in any time between 10am and 4pm and we’ll be happy to help.”
