A bewildered deer became separated from its herd and deceided to do a bit of shopping in Stokes fruit and veg shop in The Strand Dawlish.
It was a shock for customers who first thought it was a dog, but quickly realized it was a bit too big and boisterous.
The RSPCA were called and the deer was taken away to be released back into the wild.
