A blue Fiat Punto which failed to stop for a routine check in the Mamhead area was chased by police.
The authorised chase ended in Barton Terrace, Dawlish, where a 20-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail until December 9th.
A quantity of herbal cannabis was allegedly found on a 15-year-old girl passenger.
