Four care homes in Devon may be closed under a review being considered by the county council. The homes are in Ashburton, Bampton, Cullompton and Dawlish. The plans are part of a review in which the council says it wants to move away from traditional residential care to supporting older people at home. The council said no decisions had been taken and that there would be no closures until after consultations with residents and families.
