Yes please.

I'm forecasting that books will largely disappear within next 20 years.  Kindles, Kobos, Nexus etc are all so much more convenient.  Why have shelves full of dusty books which may never be read again when you can have access to an on-line library at any time.  Devon libraries are going on-line so you can already "borrow" e-books without having to visit library, just browse on-line.

@HuwMatthews2 LOL.  Not a nationalist but someone who feels his heritage and, having been born in the valleys, empathises with the community destruction that was caused by the pit closures.  And, of course, I will always support Welsh rugby even though I now live in England.

Looking at the discussion threads it appears that at this instant in time the fickle finger of fate has placed the "Powderham Pig Factory" between "The Silence of Big Ben" and "The Iron Lady"

I can't remember much being reported in the last few days about Thatcher's monetarist policy.  Have people forgotten about galloping inflation, interest rates upto 18%; negative equity; many, many people losing their homes and the legacy of Black Wednesday when the pound crumbled.  A truly great time.  I'll have to update my Iron Lady history of the Thatcher years.

Most Americans know very little about international matters.  News there tends to be very parochial.  I believe only a small percentage have passports.  Don't forget that America is the land of the free which supported the IRA for many years through its fund-raising efforts in the States. @DJ if we followed a true democracy then there probably wouldn't be a state funeral at vast public ...
