@warrior - the possible reason for western europe doing better is that they have governing bodies who are not all incompetant fools. only interested in filling their own pocket's at the expense of everyone and everything else!

@neilh - the immigrants who invaded the continent, now called the u.s.a, had no issues with exterminating nearly all the indigineous population. the natives respected the land and only took from it what they needed to survive. are you surprised that they would hesitate to allow israel to resupply from the local american ammo dump/base!

@Mcjrpc - if the woodlouse is not going ahead, what relevance is your question as to the size issue? seems a waste of effort for irrelevant info.

Comment on Lynne's post 'letter of today's Dawlish Post' - Wed 06th August 2014. I understand why the Town council went ahead ahead with the initial proposal and was obviously with good intent for the benefit of the Town. Byelaws that should be abided by on The Lawn should be posted at all entrances. Anyone breaking any of the byelaws should be put in stocks on The Lawn for an hour. Local shops can supply out of date veg, etc for people to throw at them. Oh! the stocks could  be built and supplied by one of the local prisons. Just a thought.

I took a drive up to the Warren and had a walk along the sea wall back towards Dawlish. A beautiful morning to be alive and living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Even if we still like to winge a lot down here.

Whilst the top heavy management infrastructure seems to grow.  As can be seen from the 100's of new laws implemented each year to combat the rising tide of crime.
