VOLUNTEERS keeping Dawlish clean have received a welcome boost. Dawlish Against Plastic has been handed a £500 donation from a housebuilding firm to help keep Dawlish beaches clean. TWO Dawlish shop units have been sold at auction. The adjacent properties in The Strand went under the hammer a few weeks ago and were quickly snapped up. TWO people were arrested in Teignmouth after police pulled over a van. The arrests were part of action by the Teignmouth and Dawlish neighbourhood police team. ROADWORKS and a minor road accident have caused traffic hold-ups in Dawlish this morning. A two vehicle collision was reported at about 9.25am on Exeter Road. A DAWLISH hair salon owner has raised more than £1,000 for an animal rehoming charity. Chrissy Marks of Signature Hair and Beauty raised £1,281 for Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus (SPDC).
