A FLOOD alert has been lifted on the River Teign. The alert had been issued yesterday for the rivers Teign, Bovey and Lemon and coastal streams from Babbacombe to Kenton as high river levels were forecast last night with areas of concern Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, Teignmouth, Shaldon, Bovey Tracey, Kingskerswell, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren.
