Devon County Council are putting a full vehicle closure on Shaldon Bridge through out the night from 6:30 pm to 7am from 17th December to Christmas eve. Kevin Gale had 'just about the most severe mental illness you can have' when he stabbed Lee Turner. Gale, 54, has been receiving treatment under the Mental Health Act at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish since a court hearing in 2019 found he was responsible for the killing. Lots of objections to this planning application but planning officer recommendation is for Approval. Is on the agenda at TDC planning committee meeting being held 14th December.
